Meet the Team

I joined Ramsay Brown & Partners in 1991 after having started my training at an independent firm of accountants in St. Albans. A couple of years after qualifying in 1994, I joined a firm in the West End to expand my knowledge and experience. Nine months later, in 1997, I was delighted to be invited by Laurence and Stuart to rejoin RBP as a partner.

Since joining, I have never been busier, taking on new clients at a steady pace, writing articles for GP Magazine and giving lectures, primarily to GP trainees.

I attended Eastbourne College and University of Hertfordshire and gained a BA (Hons) in Business Studies.

I live in St. Albans and am married with one daughter, Amelia, born in 2002, one son, Guy, born in 2004, one cat and one dog.

I have always been an intrepid traveller and having a sister and cousins who live abroad has helped me to continue to travel. Camping in Kenya, trekking in Thailand and touring the National Parks of South Western America are just some of the adventures I have undertaken.

I am also keen on trying new activities and unusual pursuits, which, to date, include rally driving, sailing, polo, clay pigeon shooting, abseiling and rock climbing. I like to keep fit and go skiing regularly. I also enjoy horse riding, walking, gardening and bird watching.
