Meet the Team

I have been a Director and Financial Planner of Ramsay Brown Financial Services Limited (RBFS) since 1992, and have been working in the financial services profession since 1985.

 

I am a Chartered Financial Planner as well as a holder of the Certified Financial Planner Licence, and am a Fellow of both the Personal Finance Society (PFS) and the Institute of Financial Planning (FIFP).

 

I have advanced qualifications in the field of investment portfolio management, and retirement planning, as well as qualifications in taxation and trusts.

 

I have served on the board of the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP) and have been a trainer and assessor for the Certified Financial Planner licence.

 

I was born in 1958 and am married with 4 sons, Chris born in 1983, Dan born in 1986, James born in 1999 and Ed born in 2001.

 

My interests include squash, cricket, golf, football, hiking, cooking and wine.

 

As a family, we are all quite keen runners, with myself, Lulu, Chris and Dan all completing the Paris Marathon in 2009.

I have also undertaken various events for charity, including doing a sponsored trek, for SCOPE, through the Andes to Machu Picchu, trekking as high as 4,750 metres
